Welcome to the Department of Digital Game Design at Istanbul Kültür University.

Game design is a rapidly growing and evolving field. We offer an innovative and creative learning environment where technology and art converge, ensuring that you acquire the most up-to-date knowledge and skills in this domain. In addition to core mandatory courses in game engines, 2D and 3D design, illustration, coding, level design, and game mechanics, you will have the opportunity to specialize in areas that encompass the multidisciplinary nature of game design, such as motion graphics, visual aesthetics, contemporary narrative and genre, character design, and concept art. With our extensive pool of elective courses, each of you will progress in fields that best match your individual interests and talents. 

Through our university's Erasmus student mobility programs, you will have the opportunity to explore the world. Additionally, you can pursue double major or minor programs in different departments such as software or computer engineering, architecture, communication and design, and animation, thereby achieving the chance to earn dual degrees.

Our goal is for you to develop your creative and critical thinking abilities, gain an artistic perspective, and undertake high-level game design projects both technically and artistically. We are delighted to see you as the future designers, storytellers, illustrators, and game developers.
